Features
The different varieties of brass washers are brass copper washers, S.S. vulcanized red fibre washers, brass pressings, pressed components parts washers. These are also available in special pressed parts pressings and deep drawn components meant for switch gears, transformers, elevators, heaters and other electromechanical applications.

Threads
The washer size to be used with a particular screw size is determined by the first number in the screw size. For example, a 4-40 machine screw and a #4 sheet metal have about the same major thread diameter and require a #4 washer, flat or lock.

The brass inserts have deep groove for maximum pull out resistance. The inner diameter after threads have very close tolerance to prevent unnecessary flush to enter into the inserts. Knurling is made available of the following variations-
